STOP COMPLAINING AND START CREATING! - Ronald Kenneth
You probably must have heard this a thousand times, so you'd want to skip it but....
WAIT!!!
::

::
Let me tell you a short story!
::
::
::
In 2015, I thought heard of how to push my message to the world, teach what I know and create a following. I just learnt a few skills and I was eager to let the world learn from me.
At the time, the cliché was having an invite to speak about your area of passion at a renowned conference.
Well, nobody called on me!
::
::
::
I decided to package my thoughts and push it out!
I CREATED A PLATFORM FOR MYSELF!!!
The platform was what I needed at the time and getting speaking gigs was one of the ways I thought I could push and build confidence. So, I created the platform for myself, mounted the podium and started preaching my message!

What you don't know about the UEFA Champions League
You watch and enjoy the UEFA Champions League. You cherish the teams, and even have a favourite among them. You cheer your favourite team enthusiastically, and feel bad whenever it loses or performs poorly in a match. You criticize or praise the players passionately as though you are an official stakeholder of the club. What a scenario!
However, I bet you don't know much about the UEFA Champions League anthem. No doubt, it's a lovely song, and sounds like a religious hymn. But there's more to that.
The lyrics of the anthem were written by Tony Britten in 1992 (based on George Frideric Handel's song, Zadok The Priest). They comprise 18 lines in UEFA's three official languages: English (6 lines), French (6 lines) and German (6 lines).
The UEFA Champions League (UCL) is an annual club football competition organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and contested by top-division European clubs, deciding the competition winners through a group and knockout format.
Though introduced in 1955 as the European Champion Club's Cup when it was a straight knockout tournament open only to the champions of Europe's domestic leagues, it has since been expanded in 1992 when it took its current name, and while most of Europe's national leagues can still only enter their champions, the strongest leagues now provide up to four teams.
A total of 32 teams are drawn into eight groups of four teams and play each other in a double round-robin system. The eight group winners and eight runners-up proceed to the knockout phase that culminates with the final match, and the winner automatically qualifies for the following year's Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
Besides the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Champions League is indeed most interesting football tournament on earth!

WOLVES IN SHEEP’S CLOTHING
Memorise:
And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.
Mark 14:18
Read:
Psalms 41:6-12
6 And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth a road, he telleth it.
7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
8 An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom l trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
10 But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
Message:
“In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;"
2 Corinthians 11:26
As we see above, Apostle Paul enumerated the dangers he had encountered in the course of preaching the gospel and the 'perils among false brethren' made the list. You must be wary of false brethren within your family, neighbourhood, workplace and even in your local assembly.
In 1 Samuel 17:26-28, while David was making enquiries about the reward for slaying Goliath, his elder brother wanted him to go back to look after sheep. The elders say that if the household enemy cannot kill a person, neither can the external ones. David was already dreaming of how he was going to become a giant-killer but his brother wanted to silence him, just as Joseph’s brothers sought to kill his own dreams in Genesis 37:17-20. One would think that his brothers would have been interested in helping him become a great ruler as he had dreamed, after all, they would have been 'the great ruler's brothers.' Rather, they not only wanted his dreams to be aborted, they also wanted to kill him.
Don’t be fooled; not everyone smiling with you genuinely wishes you well, so be careful who you share your dreams with. Be like David and follow the counsel of God rather than those of men.
When I became the General Overseer of the RCCG, there was a man I had considered to be a good friend as we had done some wonderful things together for God in the past. I went to visit him one day to discuss past. I went to visit him one day to discuss my new assignment as the General Overseer. When I got to his house, he drove me away, saying he had hated me since the day I came into the Church. I was shocked and really felt sad.
I pray that every wolf in sheep’s clothing around you shall be exposed and disgraced in the mighty name of Jesus.
Prayer Point:
Father, every wolf in sheep’s clothing around me, expose this week in the mighty name of Jesus.
Bible in one year:
Luke 18:15-19:48
Hymn 18
My Faith Looks Up To Thee
1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Saviour divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away;
O let me from this day
Be wholly Thine.
2. May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire;
As Thou hast died for me,
O may my love to Thee
Pure, warm, and changeless be,
A living fire.
3. While life’s dark maze | tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.
4. When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold, sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll, Blest Saviour, then in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
O bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul.
why sex before marriage is important
Men, if you want to have a great relationship here is my advice to you: Stop trying to cheer up your girlfriend or wife. I know this might not make sense to you right now, but trust me, it’ll be one of the best things you can do for your relationship. As a brand new husband, one rookie mistake I repeatedly made was always trying to fix my wife’s problems.
Every time she told me about a problem or a challenge in her life, I would simply assume that she wanted me to fix it. As her husband, I felt like it was my job to be the hero and save my damsel in distress. What else are husbands supposed to do anyway? So I would offer solutions. Or give advice. Or try to cheer her up. Little did I know that Olive did not want me to fix the problem. This is so crazy I need to repeat it again: my wife would tell me about a problem, but not want me to fix it.
WE’D HAVE CONVERSATIONS LIKE THIS
On one particular evening, Olive started to tell me how sad she was feeling.
Olive: “I feel sad.”
Tim: “Don’t feel sad.”
Olive: “It’s just that ________ “(Explains reason for her sadness).
Tim: “Let me cheer you up.” (Starts to make a funny face to make Olive laugh)
Olive: (Ignoring Tim’s ridiculous looking face) “I don’t like my life right now.”
Tim: “Let me tell you a joke.” (Hoping that the joke will make Olive like her life better)
Olive: “Stop trying to cheer me up.”
Tim: “Oh.” (Confused) “Well, what you should try to do is ________ “[offers what he thinks is a helpful advice to fix Olive’s sadness].
Olive: “Can you please listen to me?”
Tim: …(even more confused)
Olive: …(patiently waits for Tim to comprehend to what she just said)
Tim: (Finally, understands that the best thing for him to do is simply listen to his wife) “Oh sorry. So you’re feeling sad because ________” [repeats Olive’s reason for her sadness].
Olive: “Yes, and because _______” [continues talking, feeling much better that her husband is finally listening to her].
YOUR SMARTPHONE: ASSET OR LIABILITY - Ronald Kenneth
If anybody had told you a few years ago that smartphones would be tools for effective branding and wealth creation, I bet you would have debunked the thought. In 2016 about 62.9 percent of the world's population already had mobile phones and over 80 percent used their phones for texts and calls only. The number of mobile phone users was estimated to cross the 5 billion mark by the end of 2019; with a projection of steady growth in the coming years and with the introduction of new and smarter devices, it becomes imperative for users to learn to make money using their smart phones.
The world as we know it, is getting more advanced by the day as technology is greatly improving and transforming lives. Several decades ago, the world experienced the emergence of computers, which was a big break to technological advancement. With the mainframe computers, we had a lot to boast about. Today (several decades later), technology has so much advanced that the computers are now in our hands.
Smartphones are portable digital devices with which communication and work is made easier and faster. However, smartphone users in this part of the world have to a large extent tapped into the communication features of their smartphones, leaving other aspects behind.
Smartphone were not just made for users to send/receive calls and text messages. More can be achieved with it. Come to think of it, have you ever wondered why the smartphone production companies come up with newer versions of their products which are sleeker and more user friendly? The answer lies in the various functions which manufacturers envisage users to tap into. Despite this obvious fact, we still have smartphone users that are under-utilizing their smart devices; spending endlessly on data subscriptions and calls just to keep abreast with trends. The question is: "WHAT VALUE HAVE YOU CONSCIOUSLY ATTAINED USING YOUR SMARTPHONE?"
Is your smartphone an asset or liability?
Let's focus on the positives for a second shall we?
Let's talk about how you can utilize that device you have in your hand and grow your brand.
Smartphones can be utilized for more productive ventures such as:
1. Graphic design
2. Video editing/production
3. Voicing/Podcast creation
4. Social media management
5. Digital marketing
6. Professional Photography and lots more
The benefits of being mobile savvy cannot be overemphasized. Apart from the fact that you can earn money by using your smartphone to carry out any of the processes above, it also affords you:
1. Speed in the execution of tasks: A couple of months ago, I was saddled with the responsibility of creating e-content for a particular reputable organization in Nigeria. I executed the task with my smartphone on the go and I got lots of commendation from the entire team I worked for, most persons referred me to other people as they commented that my speed was "out of this world". With your smartphone, you can achieve tremendous speed in the execution of tasks. It's not called a mobile device for nothing. You can take it anywhere and execute tasks easy, beat time and deliver on time on any task you set out for.
2. Convenience: The reason why a lot of people procrastinate their tasks is because of how monotonous take execution has been for them. Lots of persons believe tha serious tasks like Graphics design, Video editing and th likes can only be executed using Computers but the demystification of this myth lies in the fact that smartphones are also convenient for getting work done.
These points about are just but a few to consider while thinking of being mobile savvy. Speed and convenience will aid you as you work to land more paying clients.
Be mobile savvy!
