RE: RECALL OF SENATOR ROCHAS OKOROCHA
- POLITICAL JOBBERS HAVE HIJACKED OUR PROGRAM
- IT IS PURELY CRIMINAL TO USURP A PROJECT FOR WHICH WE HAVE PATENT
- WE HAVE BEGUN CONSULTATIONS WITH ORLU STAKEHOLDERS ON OUR NEXT LINE OF ACTION
We are shocked beyond imagination to read in some sections of the media that a group known as OPOCA has hijacked the Recall process of Senator Rochas Okorocha, an agenda which we initiated as the apex leadership forum in Orlu Zone. When we made some effort to unmask those behind the faceless group, we were taken aback to find out that a band of notorious political jobbers and attack-traders and a few illiterate political thugs, who make a living by stoking the embers of political violence, have chosen to usurp our program, impersonate the respectable identities of our most senior leaders and members, and are now spiritedly targeting to dupe unsuspecting members of the public using an agenda which is legally ours.
What is further worrisome is that they are mainly serving appointees under the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma. It is completely unacceptable to us for our program to be deployed as a tool for political vendetta, and never again shall we sit back and watch the political soul of Orlu suffer corruption.
To be clear, on September 1, 2019 we set up a 7-man committee for the recall with following terms of reference:
a. Interfacing with INEC for the purpose of the Recall;
b. Collation of data, petitions and signatures of the entire eligible electorate in the Zone;
c. Engaging with all critical stakeholders and creating awareness for the Recall;
d. Ensuring that there is a landslide victory during the Recall plebiscite;
f. And any other thing which the Committee shall decide to do in order to achieve the Recall.
We had also formally written INEC to inform them of the process and consequently requested the Commission to act in line with the provisions of Section 69 of the 1999 Constitution and open a recall register for the purpose. The letter to this effect was dated September 27, 2019, and it was received and an acknowledgement copy signed and stamped by the Commission. Having accomplished all these fundamental processes, we have become the only legally permissible body with the patent to speak and act on this subject.
With the clarifications above, the mischief, the fraud and the political profiteering stratagem of the shadowy characters known as OPOCA can now be fully understood. It is criminal for anybody to impersonate us, and we will not fail to explore the legal option of deservedly subjecting them to the consequences of their misdeeds.
Finally, we have begun consultations with all critical stakeholders in Orlu Zone aimed at building a broad-based consensus on the informed position of Orlu people with respect to this question of Recall.

Nigeria frees more than 300 schoolgirls from captivity, kidnapped by militants
300 girls who were recently abducted from a boarding school in Nigeria have been released.
They are all safe now.
Matavelle noticed that the girls had already arrived at the government building, everything was fine with them. At the same time, the official did not name the exact number of the released female students.

SUBJECT: RECOVERY OF EASTERN PALM UNIVERSITY: JUSTICE HAS BEEN SERVED
- WE THANK ALL THOSE WHO STOOD BY US THROUGHOUT THE LEGAL BATTLE
We are elated by the news of the recovery of the Eastern Palm University built by the previous administration of Rochas Okorocha and later converted to private use by the same government. We are glad that justice has been served at last.
Recall that till now, the Comrade Sylvester Anyikwa-led Orluzurumee Youth Assembly, the apex social cultural youth organization in Orlu zone, had gone to court to challenge the Imo state house of assembly law number 3,which ceded the Eastern Palm University to former governor Rohas Okorocha.
On this note therefore, we call on the governor to speedily send in an executive bill to the state assembly requesting a repeal of law Number 3, which handed over the Eastern Palm University to Senator Rochas Okorocha, hence oral pronouncements is not enough.
Between last year and January 2021, Orluzurumee youth assembly made over 12 appearances to secure a landmark judgment in favor of Ndimo, because it's a well known fact that the support we enjoy is because the case we instituted was a public-interest matter.
On this note, therefore, the apex youth body in Orlu zone, is sincerely thankful to the State Governor His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma for the complete takeover of the Eastern Palm University. We also appreciate the overwhelming support of all those who stood by us in our legal battle to recover what belongs to the people.
We also encourage the Governor to keep up with the good works so that posterity will be kind to him.

SUBJECT: ATTACK ON OUR BOT CHAIRMAN AND PUBLISHER OF NIGERIA WATCHDOG NEWSPAPER, PRECIOUS NWADIKE, BY UCHE UZODINMA, BROTHER TO GOVERNOR HOPE UZODINMA, IS BARBARIC AND UNACCEPTABLE
- THE VICTIM HAS BEEN FLOWN TO LAGOS, HOSPITALIZED AND IN CRITICAL CONDITION.
- WE DEMAND IMMEDIATE APOLOGY OR A LEGAL ACTION BE TAKEN AGAINST MR. UCHE UZODINMA AND HIS CRONIES
The apex socio-cultural youth body in Orlu zone, Orluzurumme Youth Assembly has condemned in very strong terms the brutality meted out to one of our own, Comrade Precious Nwadike, who doubles as our BoT Chairman and the publisher Nigeria Watchdog Newspaper.
Mr. Nwadike who was beaten up by Mr. Uzodinma and his group of thugs , at the premises of owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) along Port Harcourt road by Eberelinks fuel station, had gone to enroll in the ongoing NIN registration at one NIMC outlets at OCDA.
As a socio-cultural organization that abhors human right violation and abuses, we call on the Governor Uzodinma to call his brother, Mr. Uche Uzodinma, to order and as a group we demand Mr. uzodinma to tender a written apology to our BoT Chairman within 48hrs and if he fails to do so, a fundamental right court action will be instituted against him.
As responsible adults and law-abiding sons and daughters of Orlu zone, we call on our youths not to take laws into their hands by retaliating this impunity and rascality, rather to remain calm while we watch the events unfold.
